A stunning expression of Yamazaki matured for an incredible 25 years! This is the pre-2021 edition of the bottling which is a purely sherry matured release. The more recent post 2021 bottlings are now a vatting including American, Spanish and Japanese mizunara oak. This move was to bring the profile further in line with the vattings of the classic 12 and 18 year old releases. Older releases like this lot are noted for their exceptional depth of high quality sherry cask notes as well as the robust strength of the Yamazaki spirit.
